These are my reviews of wax melts that I've completely melted over the last couple of months. This bunch has a lot of vendor wax in it as I finally kicked myself in the rear and made myself start using it. After all, what good is it just sitting on my shelf collecting dust and losing scent?

NOTES
Something that I've learned from melting a whole lot of wax is that you can ever predict how a melt is going to do before you melt it. Price point, shape, packaging, exclusivity, and hype mean, as we say in the South, a hill of beans.
That being said, there are a lot of factors on the consumer end that add even more unpredictability to the wax melt equation. The include: size of home, shape of room, the actual warmer, the air flow, and the consumer's own preferences and sense of smell.
That is why, at the end of the day, each person can only talk of their own experiences.
I've written this as a preamble to my actual notes to drive home the point that I understand people's experiences may be different. They may not agree with my opinions on a product or are so deeply down the rabbit hole of brand personification that it actually becomes personal to them.
TL DR: I gave a lot of unfavorable reviews to some extremely hyped vendor wax melts. I'm expecting at least a few people to get their panties in a knot over it.
My favorite wax lines of the moment are: Yankee Scenterpiece melt cups, better homes and gardens, scentsationals, and Ava's Country Cupboard. I have found these perform consistently well with little to no duds even after the large number that I've tried in each.
My brands I wouldn't even take for free are: Yankee regular wax melts, Elegant Expressions, True Living, Living Colors, Family Dollar, and Glade. I've had zero luck with these and am done wasting my time.
